DESCRIPTION:Carfagna’s is pleased to welcome Christine Mercnik\, proprietor of  Grace Under Pressure\, for a truly “special” tasting. Christine represents 8 of the 24 Vignerons of Club Trésors de Champagne (producers of Special Club Champagne)! She knows Champagne\, particularly Special Club Champagne\, as well as one could possibly know the subject. \nThis particular event represents the epitome of Champagne Seminar/Tasting… for both the Industry Folks and our Wonderful Clients.  The tasting will be on Wednesday\, May 15th @ Carfagna’s. \n\nThe Special Club Educational Seminar… 3:45 pm – 5:30 pm \nThe Educational Component (limited to 20 seats): \nChristine will focus on the history of Special Club\, the members\, and specifically the producers of the Champagnes that will be presented\, all of whom she knows quite well. We will discuss the Champagnes and the subtle differences that set them apart. \nIn this session\, we will taste 4 Special Club Champagnes and 2 non-vintage Champagnes\, all made by Special Club producers. \nWe’ll have charcuterie (and some junk food) to accompany the tasting. \n\nThe Casual Tasting… 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm \nThe Casual Tasting Component (limited to 30 folks): \nThis tasting\, held in the Piazza w/Christine\, we will taste and discuss the Champagnes of the Special Club Producers.  We will taste 2 Special Club\, and 4 non-vintage Champagnes\, all made by Special Club producers. \nWe’ll have our Michelle’s Grazing Charcuterie Table\, Hors d’oeuvre & Carfagna’s Famous Pizza. \n\nThe Special Club Seminar:   $95.00/person \nThe Casual Tasting:  $75.00/person \nThe Seminar & Casual Tasting:  $150.00/person \n\nPre-purchase Only (no tickets at the tasting)\nWine available for purchase at tasting; 10% discount on 6+ bottles\nMust be 21+ years for the tasting.\nCancellations must be by Sunday\, May 12th.\n\nCheers… Raj!
