DESCRIPTION:Transport your kitchen to the rolling hills of central Italy. In this immersive\, educational and fun class\, you will master the soulful flavors of Tuscany through one of its most beloved comfort dishes. We’ll move beyond the basics to learn the savory complexity of a traditional Italian Sausage Ragu. You’ll learn the secrets of building a rich soffritto base\, deglazing with regional wine\, and slow-simmering high-quality\, Carfagna’s Italian Sausage into a thick\, velvety sauce that clings to every bite. You will be introduced to  Bucatini\, the thick\, hollow-center pasta known for its incredible “al dente” bite and its unique ability to carry sauce both inside and out. A traditional Panzanella Salad with an Italian Bread Basket will complete this Tuscan inspired menu. Then you will continue this hearty party in our Vasto Room with dessert and a glass of our featured red or white wine. Now based in Columbus\, he brings his passion and experience to Carfagna’s as a Cooking Class Instructor. Peyton specializes in pasta\, brunch menus and cooking up perfect steaks and chops! \n  \nTICKETS ARE PER PERSON. YOU NEED ONE TICKET FOR EACH PERSON ATTENDING.  \nAll of Carfagna’s Cooking Classes are hands-on and limited to a maximum of 12 adults. You will work with your friends or other guests in small groups sharing food prep\, equipment\, and workspace while creating a 3 or 4 course meal. The class instruction lasts for approximately 2-2 1/2 hours\, followed by dinner in our lovely Vasto Room or Piazza\, as a shared buffet of your menu creations. Plus\, you will also be served a light appetizer\, or dessert and glass of featured red or white wine. (Nonalcoholic options are also available). All food prepared in the class must be consumed on the premises. Menu items are subject to change. If you have any food allergies\, please note them on your enrollment form when you sign up for the class. Classes may be canceled up to 24 hours in advance with no refunds\, but future classes may be rescheduled within 30 days or for next class availability. Same day cancellations or no shows are not refundable or rescheduled. Guests each receive a Recipe Packet and a 10% off coupon for Carfagna’s Market (Not honored in Carfagna’s restaurant\, bar\, or for any alcohol). \nCancelation Policy – We do not offer refunds for any canceled Cooking Classes. Classes may be canceled by calling 614-323-8609\, up to 48 hours in advance of the class. Another class may be rescheduled within 30 days\, or for next class availability. Same day cancellations or no shows are not refundable or rescheduled\, but may be transferred to a friend or family member to attend in your place.
