The Carnival of Venice (Carnevale di Venezia) is an annual spring festival held in Venice, Italy, leading up to Lent. Famous throughout the world for its elaborate costumes and masks and considered by Americans as the “Mardi Gras of Italy”, this unique class honors this ancient revelry by featuring Italian foods traditionally savored during this celebration. You will enjoy an appetizer and learn the techniques to make a rich and decadent Lasagna de Carnivale, Venetian Salad and Cenci or Chiacchiere, sweet Italian fritters.
