In this popular class, Chef Sue will teach you step-by-step how to use the best ingredients and methods for making a lifetime of perfect pies! You will learn the techniques for preparing 2 traditional holiday pies, including foolproof flaky crust, elevated fillings, and homemade whipped cream. Your pies will be wrapped for you to take home to bake, or freeze until you’re ready to serve them. You will also receive a free beautiful ceramic pie dish! We’ll have premade pies for you to eat and enjoy at the end of the class along with coffee, a glass of wine, or nonalcoholic beverages.

All of Carfagna’s Cooking Classes are hands-on and limited to a maximum of 12 adults. You will work with your friends or other guests in small groups sharing food prep, equipment, and workspace while creating a 3 or 4 course meal. The class instruction lasts for approximately 2-2 1/2 hours, followed by dinner in our lovely Vasto Room or Piazza, as a shared buffet of your menu creations. Plus, you will also be served a light appetizer, or dessert and glass of featured red or white wine. (Nonalcoholic options are also available). All food prepared in the class must be consumed on the premises. Menu items are subject to change. If you have any food allergies, please note them on your enrollment form when you sign up for the class. Classes may be canceled up to 24 hours in advance with no refunds, but future classes may be rescheduled within 30 days or for next class availability. Same day cancellations or no shows are not refundable or rescheduled. Guests each receive a Recipe Packet and a 10% off coupon for Carfagna’s Market (Not honored in Carfagna’s restaurant, bar, or for any alcohol).
