Emilia-Romagna is a region situated in the northern part of Italy. It is one of the largest regions of the country and the capital, Bologna, is especially wonderful in the summer. In this class you will learn to prepare Garganelli, one of the most loved pasta types of this region, prepared loaded with fresh seasonal vegetables and a luscious basil garlic butter sauce. You will also learn the techniques to prepare an easy Italian Roast Chicken. A beautiful and delicious Spring Strawberry Salad and Limoncello Tiramisu round out the menu of this celebration of summer. You will then dine in our lovely Vasto Room while enjoying a glass of our featured red or white wine from this region.

All of Carfagna’s Cooking Classes are hands-on and limited to a maximum of 12 adults. You will work with your friends or other guests in small groups sharing food prep, equipment, and workspace while creating a 3 or 4 course meal. The class instruction lasts for approximately 2-2 1/2 hours, followed by dinner in our lovely Vasto Room or Piazza, as a shared buffet of your menu creations. Plus, you will also be served a light appetizer, or dessert and glass of featured red or white wine. (Nonalcoholic options are also available). All food prepared in the class must be consumed on the premises. Menu items are subject to change. If you have any food allergies, please note them on your enrollment form when you sign up for the class. Classes may be canceled up to 24 hours in advance with no refunds, but future classes may be rescheduled within 30 days or for next class availability. Same day cancellations or no shows are not refundable or rescheduled. Guests each receive a Recipe Packet and a 10% off coupon for Carfagna’s Market (Not honored in Carfagna’s restaurant, bar, or for any alcohol).
